Update on Franklin

Franklin still has a difficult time with handwriting, but I think we figured something out today...he moves his entire hand when he is trying to write rather than moving his fingers. Try it and you'll see how difficult it is to trace something unless you keep your hand still and move your fingers. We worked on that and it made a huge difference! Handwriting is not going to come easily for Franklin, so we'll practice, practice, practice!

I also got him some short pencils with a grip at the bottom, which gives him more to hang on to. He loves the new pencils, and they seem to be helping, as well. Progress!
