I love God more than...
We had a discussion at the dinner table tonight about how we can worship God. The discussion turned into "I love God more than..." Lauren will often say, "Mommy, I love you so much, but I love God more." I always assure her that I would expect her to love God more than me. So, tonight Franklin was really into the conversation. He started with, "I love God more than Levi." This is difficult for Franklin because Levi is his best buddy in the whole world! I think he may even love Levi more than he loves me! Then he said, "I love God more than donuts!" We could tell that this was a big deal to him by the way he said it, but we couldn't help, but laugh. Roger said, "That's one for the blog, honey!" The mind of a child is a marvelous thing!
Please help!
I need your help! This will literally take less than two minutes of your time, but it could save the life of an orphan with special needs in another country. Please follow this link http://www.membersproject.com/project/view/H1LEJ0 and nominate Reece's Rainbow. If Reece's Rainbow wins this project it will be able to give a full grant toward the adoption of 100 orphans! Roger and I would love to adopt a child with special needs in the future, but it is very expensive. This grant would enable families to adopt who have put their dream on hold because of finances. If you wonder why I am so passionate about this then please watch the following clip that aired on Dateline last night:

There is no hope for these children unless they are adopted! You do not need an American Express card to nominate. You will need to sign in, but the process is very simple, and your information will not be sold, or passed on.

Ari has decided he is getting married. I don't where this came from and he is having difficult time deciding if he is going to marry daddy or papa. He's only three, so I am not going to go into an explanation to him of why that can't happen! For now I say, "Oh really. Not today, okay?" He is a cute boy!
Not Happy!!!
I am not happy with John McCain's choice of a VP! Very disappointed to say the least...
So many reasons, so little time, but you can always ask if you really want to know. :-)

End of day 1 blogging
I was 16 weeks pregnant yesterday, and I can't seem to get over this hump of being tired. Usually, it lasts only the first trimester, but I think having four kids to take care of is part of what is keeping me tired. What do you think? :-)
Lauren and Franklin were able to spend the night with Grandma and Granddaddy tonight and that is always a special treat. It was a special treat for me, too, because I got to spend special time with my two little guys, give them baths, get them to bed, and read a book. Roger had a meeting tonight, so he didn't get to spend the evening with us.
We finished school before lunch today, and I think that is record timing for us! Lauren is doing a great job! She is learning to read so quickly! Franklin did really well today, too. I spent some one-on-one time with him and that seemed to help a lot. Miles isn't quite two, but he counted to 11! He isn't always the happiest little guy, but he sure is smart! Ari begs to do school every day. He loves to sing the ABC's and add a straw to our counting cup every day. I really enjoy teaching my children. It thrills me to watch them learn!
